Lot sales will open soon for stage one of the East Green housing development in Greenwood, following the completion of a public park and civil works. East Green has seen record interest from prospective buyers following the announcement of the McGowan Government's $125 million Building Bonus which offers incentives to build new homes. In the first three weeks of June, the estate's sales office had received 287 enquiries - almost double the number for May. The Department of Communities and Frasers Property Australia are jointly developing the estate and will be releasing the first 27 lots for sale in July. Housing Minister Peter Tinley said, "The completion of the parkland and civil works for the first stage at East Green could not have come at a better time."
