Freedom of Information Act
The Freedom of Information Act 1992 (FOI Act), which came into effect on 1 November 1993, created a general right of access to documents held by State and Local Government agencies (including Ministerial Offices) subject to and in accordance with this Act.
Receipt of FOI Applications
FOI applications to the Premier and Ministers should be sent to the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (application form available on the DPC website).
